Why Make a Donation to the Campaign?

The United States has made significant progress in reducing teen pregnancy rates (teen pregnancy has declined 27% between 1990 and 1999). Despite these impressive gains:

  • The United States still has the highest rate of teen pregnancy in the fully industrialized world.
  • 35% of teen girls get pregnant at least once by age 20.
  • There are more than 750,000 teen pregnancies each year.

Each year a new group of adolescents reach their teen years --- this means that prevention efforts must be constantly renewed and reinvented. And because teen pregnancy is so closely linked to a host of other critical social issues, your donation can help:

  • Reduce welfare dependency
  • Improve overall child well-being
  • Reduce out-of-wedlock births
  • Help increase responsible fatherhood
  • Help create a more ready and able workforce.

Help Make a Difference
